Responsible gambling
Betting should be fun. It is a paid entertainment, never a way to make money or to fix a money problem. These tools are built in, free and on from the first minute.
Tools you control
- A daily betting limit, chosen when you join. You can add weekly and monthly limits and deposit limits. Lowering a limit is immediate; raising or removing one waits 24 hours.
- Breaks. Step away for 24 hours up to six months. Betting, casino and deposits stop, and a break cannot be shortened.
- Reality checks. A reminder of how long you have been here, every 30 minutes, hour or two hours.
- A session clock on every page and your remaining daily limit, always in sight.
Signs it may be becoming a problem
- Betting more than you planned, or chasing losses.
- Borrowing, or using money meant for bills or food.
- Hiding how much you bet, or feeling anxious when you are not betting.
- Betting to escape stress, loneliness or low mood.
Get help
If any of that sounds familiar, talk to someone. Free, confidential help is available.
Ask your local health service or a trusted person about gambling support in your area.
If you want to stop completely, take the longest break and tell someone you trust. You can also close your account from your privacy settings.
Under 18s
Nobody under 18 may open an account or play. If you are a parent, filtering software can block gambling sites on your family’s devices.
