Safe picks and the safety net

Picks priced like an 80% to 90% chance, and the parlay that gives your stake back when exactly one of them loses.

What a safe pick is

A safe pick is a price from 1.05 to 1.25 in a market where one of the outcomes has to happen: over or under a goals line, a match result, both teams to score. The price implies a chance of 80% to 95%. We call the 90% picks the ones priced up to 1.11, and the 80% picks the ones from there to 1.25.

It is still a bet and it can lose. Safe means likely, not certain.

The safety net

Put five to twelve safe picks from different matches in one parlay and switch the safety net on. All win: you are paid the parlay price. Exactly one loses: your stake comes back. Two or more lose: the stake is lost.

A parlay with fewer than five picks has no net, and neither does a parlay with a pick that is not safe.

One pick lost: your stake comes back

What it costs: a slightly lower price

Take five picks that each win about 86.4% of the time. All five win 48.1% of the time and exactly one loses 37.9% of the time. The refund on that second case has to be paid for from somewhere, so the net parlay pays 1.19 instead of the 1.61 the same five picks pay at 1.10 each.

The slip shows both prices side by side and the net is a tick box, so the choice is yours. Over many bets our margin on a net parlay is 5%, the same size and shown the same way as on any other market.

Bonuses and the net

A net parlay counts toward the sign-up bonus if the parlay would qualify without the net: a stake of at least the minimum, at a combined price of 1.50 or more. A parlay that gets its stake back still counts as a qualifying bet and its stake counts toward the amount you need to stake.

Betting is entertainment, not income. Set a limit before you start, and take a break when you need one: limits and breaks.
